Hey there, my name is Tyler Brown. I was originally born in Fort Wayne, Indiana but in 4th grade moved down here to Land O’ Lakes, Florida. I attended Land O Lakes High School and now I’m a freshman here at FGCU. I use to volunteer as an escort at St. Joseph’s Hospital before moving down here which helped a lot to get use to the hospital setting because I am an Athletic Training major and plan on moving on to become a Physical Therapist. When I first meet people I’m generally pretty shy until you get to know me better. I’ve been playing soccer practically my entire life, since I was around 5. I’ve made many of my friends through that such as the group in the picture below which was my senior year of high school.
I also played for a competitive team, Fusion Futbol Club of Tampa Bay. I am a goal keeper and I actually came here to FGCU with hopes of continuing my soccer career. I have one sibling a little brother, Logan who I play soccer with as well and he’s honestly the best brother I could have ever wanted.
Also something I consider very unique that I had the opportunity to achieve was to make my way through a field of 800 competitors down to the last 20 where I was invited to go to Lake Placid, New York where I was part of the U.S. Luge Olympic Development Team. I stayed at the Olympic Training Center there for a week in 8th grade but unfortunately my time was too slow to make the official team but just tenths of a second. Last but certainly not least is someone who is very important to me and that would be my girlfriend Dana Seedaire, she has been a very big part of my life for 3 years now and I love her very much.
